Managed DNS

DNS on nameservers we operate ourselves.

Every domain comes with managed DNS, included free — a full records editor in your portal, answering from infrastructure PearlFibers runs, not a reseller's white-label.

Records without tickets

Point, publish, verify — from your own portal, whenever you need to.

A records editor, not a support queue

Add and edit records yourself in the portal — the change reaches our nameservers as soon as you save. No emailing support to point a subdomain.

  • A and AAAA — point names at servers
  • CNAME — aliases and services
  • MX — route your mail anywhere
  • TXT — SPF, DKIM, verifications
  • NS and SRV for delegation and services
  • CAA — control who issues your SSL

Our infrastructure, answering for real businesses

The 42 domains under our management — client companies included — resolve from two nameservers PearlFibers operates directly. The same team that runs them answers your support chat.

  • Two independent nameservers, operated by us
  • The infrastructure behind our own products uses the same stack
  • Changes applied to our servers immediately; the wider internet follows per your records' TTL

Included free — genuinely

DNS is not a line item here. Register or transfer a domain and managed DNS is simply part of it, with the editor unlocked in your portal from day one.

  • No DNS fee on any domain, ever
  • Zones set up for you at registration or transfer
  • Works with hosting anywhere — yours or ours

Questions, answered

Can you import my existing records?

Yes — during a transfer or onboarding we replicate your current zone before anything switches, so the move is invisible to your visitors and your mail.

How fast do changes take effect?

Our nameservers answer with the new record as soon as you save. Resolvers around the internet refresh on your record's TTL, as with any DNS provider.

Do I need PearlFibers hosting to use it?

No — DNS comes with the domain and can point at any host. Plenty of our domains point at servers we do not run, and that is fine.

Which record types are supported?

A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV and CAA — the full set a business domain needs, including everything email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC) asks for.
